Introduction

In this document we will walk you through the procedure for doing language customization. These customization will be required to be made in the following tabs:

  • Program Settings
  • Notifications
  • Design

These configurations can be made for any language that you wish to translate your program into.

Program Settings

Under this tab the first sub-tab is 'Activities'. In each of the activities if you edit them, you will find the option of 'Text Configuration'. Here everything which is written in the text boxes is editable and is what your customers will be viewing. These texts will by default be written in English language, so you can translate all these texts into your desired language and save the changes below.

An important thing to note here is that while translating the text do not translate the text in the double curly brackets '#{{ }}' as they are part of the code. Refer to the screenshots attached below for better understanding:

In 'Rewards' which is the second sub-tab, there will be several coupons. In each of those coupons, when you edit them, you will find the option of 'Text Configuration'. Here again, everything written in the text boxes is editable and is what your customers will be viewing. These texts will by default be written in English language, so you can translate all these texts into your desired language and save the changes below, except the text in the double curly brackets '#{{ }}' as they are part of the code.

In the 'Tiers' and 'Points Expiration' sub-tabs again the same procedure has to be repeated, except that in 'Points Expiration', under the heading of Points Expiration Details HTML, you can customize the HTML code according to your language.

Notifications

Under this tab the first sub-tab is 'Email Notifications'. In each of the Email Notifications if you edit them, you will find the option of 'Edit Text'. Here everything which is written in the text boxes is editable and is what your customers will be viewing. These texts will by default be written in English language, so you can translate all these texts into your desired language and save the changes below. Here very importantly, the HTML code will be needing customization according to your language. You can edit and preview before making final changes in the code.

In 'Onsite Notifications' which is the third sub-tab, there will be several type of notifications. In each of those, everything written in the text boxes is editable and is what your customers will be viewing. These texts will by default be written in English language, so you can translate all these texts into your desired language and save the changes below, except the text in the double curly brackets '#{{ }}' as they are part of the code. Also, here there will be HTML codes also written in the text boxes. These will again need customization according to your desired language. As you make changes in the text boxes or the codes, a preview will be shown right next to the text box which will help you in making the changes. Refer to the screenshots attached below for better understanding:

Design

Under this tab the second sub-tab is 'User Dashboard'. Here there are two views shown as that of Logged in users and Guest users. At the bottom of each of these views when you activate the 'Edit Dashboard Label', all the fields in the user dashboard become editable. These fields are there with a pencil shown next to them. While clicking on the pencil, you activate the edit mode for that field. This text will by default be written in English language, so you can translate all these texts into your desired language and save the changes by clicking on the tick mark which will be present now instead of the pencil. In the dashboard of Guest users you will find that even the text on the buttons here editable. Similarly you can make the changes for all the fields for both the views as that of Logged in users and Guest users. Refer to the screenshots attached below for better understanding:
